Akoya At Southpaw

Yes yes y’all.  Things come and go in this life, but Akoya Afrobeat will always be a part of Brooklyn. We will be reuniting at our favorite club in town, Southpaw, on Friday, January 8th 2010.  Our good friends The Revelations featuring Tre Williams will be joining us; they a great soul band from the same part of town and you need to check them out. We look forward to seeing you as we continue celebrating the New Year with music.

Looks like world-renowned African music expert and journalist Banning Eyre has put his stamp of approval on our new album, P.D.P. (President Dey Pass).
